Zhu Yan is a fierce beast from the Classics of Mountain and Sea.

On Xiao Ci Mountain (小次之山 xiǎo cì zhī shān) there lives a beast that looks like an ape but with a white head and crimson hands and feet. 

It is said that whenever a Zhu Yan appears there will be great war on earth.
