Ox-Head and Horse-Face are immortal demons that reside in Di Yu (地狱 dì yù). They are stationed at Gui Men Guan (鬼门关 guǐ mén guān) - often referred to in English as the "Gateway to Hell" - receive spirits from Hei Bai Wu Chang (黑白无常 hēi bái wú cháng) and escort them to the Ruler of Di Yu, King Qin Guang (秦广王 qín guǎng wáng) for judgement.
