The second mountain system to the East, from Kong Sang Mountain (空桑之山 kōng sāng zhī shān) to Zhen Mountain (䃌山 zhēn shān) is made up of 17 mountains and spans an area of 6,640 leagues. The Mountain Gods [that reside here] have the body of a beast, the face of a human, and horns atop their heads. 

Offering a sacrifice to the mountain gods: Sacrifice and place a chicken in wool, then place a jade article on a Bi1 and bury them in the ground. 

1 A Jade Bi (玉璧 yù bì) is a disc of jade with a hole in the centre that was used in many rituals and ceremonies in ancient China.
