The self-proclaimed "Great Sage of the Seas" (覆海大圣 fù hǎi dà shèng), Saurian¹ Demon King, is one of the Seven Great Sages (七大圣 qī dà shèng) from the Journey to the West (西游记 xī yóu jì) - seven sworn brothers, each more powerful than the next. The other six include: 

• The Monkey King (孙悟空 sūn wù kōng)
• Bull-Demon King (牛魔王 niú mó wáng)
• Roc Demon King (鹏魔王 péng mó wáng)
• Lion Spirit King (狮狔王 shī nǐ wáng)
• Macaque Spirit King (猕猴王 mí hóu wáng)
• Snub-nosed monkey Spirit King (禺狨王 yú róng wáng)

¹ The English translation of his name is not accurate. "Saurian" is defined as [adj. of or like a lizard], however, the character 蛟 (jiāo) represents a powerful dragon from Chinese mythology known as the Jiao Long (蛟龙 jiāo lóng). He has nothing in common with and is in no way a representation of a lizard.
