There is a bird that lives in the mountains that looks like a normal owl, but has three eyes and a pair of ears. 

The sound they make is similar to that of a deer. 

Eating it's flesh can cure moisture related illnesses. (This refers to Chinese medicine. Moisture related illnesses include such things as arthritis, eczema, as well as spleen and stomach problems.)
